Events Terms and Conditions

 

By signing the permission form and / or taking part in an event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please take the time to read and understand these terms and conditions.

  1. I have read and understand the information regarding the event and understand that I take part in the event at my own risk.
  2. It is acknowledged that Australian National Taekwondo and Australian Defensive Tactics does NOT provide supervision at all events. Where no supervision is provided, is it the responsibility of the parent or guardian / carer to ensure all children attending the event are under the supervision of an adult guardian at all times.
  3. I agree to comply with the rules and directions of event officials and their personnel.
  4. I hereby allow the use of my name and image to be used in the media and for marketing purposes, and accept that my details will be added to the Australian National Taekwondo and Australian Defensive Tactics event database.
  5. I also understand that I will be contacted via email by Australian National Taekwondo and Australian Defensive Tactics from time to time in regards to upcoming events and promotions.
  6. I hereby acknowledge this waiver, release and indemnity discharge all persons, corporations, associations and bodies involved or otherwise engaged in promoting or staging the event and their servants, agents, representatives, officers and employees. This includes but is not limited to Australian National Taekwondo, the various committees, members, and employees of all independent contracted suppliers to the event, local and regional councils, cities and districts and their respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, agents, volunteers, event organisers and sponsors whether or not the loss, injury or damage is attributed to the act or neglect of any or more of them.
  7. National Taekwondo and Australian Defensive Tactics reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. It is the responsibility of the participant to check the most current version of the terms and conditions, published in the National Taekwondo web site members area section at http://nationaltaekwondo.net/wordpress/category/event-terms-conditions/
  8. If any term or condition herein is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law or unenforceable, then such term or condition may be removed without affecting the remaining terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
  9. Any failure on the part of Australian National Taekwondo and Australian Defensive Tactics to exercise or enforce any right herein shall not constitute a waiver of such right.
  10. Any gift card, gift certificate or free training, free Membership, free uniform or free vouchers can only be used once by the person who has it  in there possession. All  free offers are not transferable or redeemable for cash.All free offers are not for current Members unless specified on actual offer
  11. Social Gatherings outside of Australian National Tae Kwon Do Training Centres or Australian Defensive Tactics Training Events – Students participating in any social gathering outside of Australian National Tae Kwon Do or Australian Defensive Tactics do so at their own risk.  Even if a group social event has been advertised on National Tae Kwon  Do Facebook page on behalf of students organizing a social gathering, those who attend do so at their own risk and can not hold Australian National Tae Kwon Do or Australian Defensive Tactics liable for any loss, damage, injury, death if so happen to occur on the social event.
